The HRIS Analyst at St. Charles Health System acts as a key business partner to HR and IT using extensive knowledge and expertise in HRIS. This position will deliver functionality, processes, and systems to provide user, business and project support to streamline and create efficiencies in HR related activities. This is a collaborative role that will work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and SCHS Leadership in analyzing and translating HR business needs into technical requirements.
(May perform additional duties of similar complexity within SCHS as required or assigned)
Participate in the maintenance of HR metrics and analytics to support the various operational initiatives and departmental needs.
Involvement with testing for system enhancements updates and upgrades ensuring that the system is functioning per the specifications and user's needs.
Assist with maintaining internal database files and tables ensuring the integrity of the data contained therein.
Engage in professional and productive collaborative dialogue with a view to ensuring the integrity of the data contained within and subsequently the data communicated from the HRIS application.
Liaise directly with the technical support team, external vendors and business partners to ensure that operational needs are being satisfied.
Under direction, serve as a liaison between HR and IT to provide systems support and analysis and to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of HR and end users of the HRIS application throughout the enterprise.
Participate in HRIS meetings for identification and resolution of issues and consideration and evaluation of potential system enhancements and upgrades.
Assist HR team members with application issues related to the HRIS system by investigating problems and developing detailed suggestions for resolution of issues.
Maintain familiarity with all computer systems used in the department, utilizing them as needed.
Log HRIS end user issues in the help desk tracking system. Follow up with users to ensure issues were resolved promptly.
Assist with problem resolution for assigned systems and applications including but not limited to: Error reports, calls from caregivers, Payroll and other data feeds, etc.
Assist with problem resolution for workflow and processes attached to systems and applications.
Maintain and ensure that system data is updated and accurate.
Prioritize while remaining flexible in the face of change and changing priorities, problem solve, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel information.
Constantly display excellent analytical and independent thinking skills with the ability to review and understand statistical data retrieved from the HRIS application.
Constantly expand upon knowledge of HRIS and application design tools, ability to design, develop, test and support customizations.
Conducts all activities with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality. Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures, supporting the health system's corporate integrity efforts by acting in an ethical and appropriate manner, reporting known or suspected violations of applicable rules, and cooperating fully with all company investigations and proceedings.
Delivers customer service and/or patient care in a manner that promotes goodwill, is timely, efficient and accurate.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: PHR preferred. Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to meet SCHS driving requirements.
Personal Protective Equipment: Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required to perform the job safely.

Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years HRIS and/or Business Analyst experience required. Health care experience preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
