Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic health records.
Accurately document phone conversations, prescription refills given, samples provided, and appointments for tests and referrals.
Write up or electronically enter tests, procedures, referrals, surgeries and work up slips.
Skills:
Previous medical assistant or closely related experience preferred Ability to work as part of a team as well as a high performing individual contributor Working knowledge of medical terminology Strong computer skills Excellent communication, customer service, organization and problem-solving skills required Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
