Participate as a member of the IT helpdesk, providing general end-user support and assistance with desktop hardware, software applications, and phone systems.
Provide end user (patient) support for patient facing applications.
Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming calls, voicemail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.
Communicate with end-users & team members on the status of open support requests.
Effectively analyze support requests and escalate issues to appropriate team members as needed to ensure effective and efficient resolutions.
Provide initial user setup (Active Directory, clinical and desktop applications).
Maintain a good understanding of PC hardware, peripherals, printers, and networking.
Maintain a good understanding of Microsoft desktop operating systems and application software as well as applications specific to our environment.
Work with the IT team to create and update documentation.
Stay current with relevant technological developments, industry trends, and best practices.
Participate in on-call/after-hours support as needed Skills:
Exceptional customer service skills Excellent problem solving skills and analytical thinking Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment within stated guidelines.
Ability to collaborate with teams and share ideas.
Preferred certifications:
MSP, MTA, A+, Network +, CompTIA
