What you will do Adheres to written and oral instructions for patient care as indicated by the Registered Nurse on duty.
Takes patient vital signs routinely as delegated by Registered Nurse.
Assists the patient with all aspects of personal care, ambulation, and positioning as required and provides guidance to the family/caregiver regarding personal care of the patient.
Prepares meals and serves meals according to policy and procedure, and assists with feeding as required.
Performs housekeeping services that are necessary for the health and safety of the patient/family/caregiver.
Checks temperature of all refrigerators & freezers containing food and logs results daily.
Stores food per health code regulations.
Attends and participates in shift report, in-services, department, and agency meetings.
Follows the guidelines for universal precautions when providing patient care and demonstrates proper techniques in application of infection control standards.
Demonstrates excellent listening skills and maintains strict confidentiality of patient/family/caregiver information.
Recognizes the importance of and maintains professional boundaries and carries out duties and responsibilities of position in a manner that exemplifies excellent customer service.
Consistently represents the Facility to all internal and external customers with integrity and professionalism.
Answers patients call bell within three rings as well as answers telephone within three rings, identifies department and self, directs call to appropriate person, or assists caller.
Takes messages, documenting the time, name of caller, phone number, and message, when applicable.
Provides for a safe environment for patients, guests, visitors, and employees and adheres to all policies, procedures, and regulations regarding patient care, conduct, safety, fire, security, and risk management.
Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings as requested.
Attends continuing education courses related to area of specialization to remain current in the field.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
