Position title Advocate Support Lead:
Urban Reporting to Executive Director Job description The Advocate Support Lead provides support to the Executive Director through staff support:
onboarding, ongoing training, individual check-ins and support and continuing education for the team.
The Advocate Support Lead will be responsible to hold a small caseload of clients, supporting programs, and/ or meeting at designated locations to connect individuals to requested services and community resources.
The majority of our resource work is focused on permanent and affordable housing.
The Urban position will be housed in the Bend office.
We anticipate the Rural position to be housed in the Redmond office.
Some of the below responsibilities will be shared, while others will be specific to the Rural or Urban role.
Responsibilities of this position Shared roles:
? Coordinate the interview process for applicants in your region ? Provide onboard training to COA staff in your region ? Overall support to TCO's Community Outreach Advocates (COA) ? Provide monthly check-ins with COA staff to ensure workload is manageable, staff are supported and able to pursue professional goals and interests.
Review files, tracking, and metrics.
Address gaps and weak spots if appropriate.
? Provide initial and annual review and site monitoring for COA staff ? Coordinate outreach site scheduling and coverage as needed ? Provide support to a small caseload of clients that seek TCO's services ? HMIS entry for your region ? Work alongside Outreach Lead to maintain and disseminate accurate resource knowledge to TCO staff and the community ? Lead internal staff meetings when necessary and add relevant information to the weekly agenda ? Meet with Lead Team weekly to communicate and coordinate across programs ? Meet with ED as needed to better support needs of COA staff ? Support ED with needed information and feedback for initial and annual staff reviews ? Professionally represent TCO at agency and partner meetings Individual roles:
? Coordinate PTO requests from COA staff ? Facilitate training opportunities and continuing education for TCO staff ? Coordinate job openings on Indeed, Craigslist, website ? CES meetings and shelter/ housing referral support to team ? JVC member supervision (Urban) General duties ? Commitment to interacting positively and respectfully with people of all ages, cultures and demographic backgrounds.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team ? Ability to present at public speaking engagements as needed ? Flexibility to provide site coverage and staff evening and weekend events, as needed ? Responsible to attend, contribute and periodically lead weekly staff meetings Qualifications ? Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field or 4-years' experience in Human Services-related field ? Previous experience in management or leadership required ? Bilingual Spanish preferred ? Strong problem-solving skills to navigate a complex environment ? Sound computer skills, including Word, Excel, Google Suite, internet usage and ability to learn data systems ? Professional oral and written communication skills Compensation ? Hourly $26.
00 (+10% increase for Spanish bilingualism) ? Benefits begin on 1st of month after 60-days o Health insurance for employee:
