Accounting Administrative Assistant
Bend, OR Bend, OR $18 - $24 an hour $18 - $24 an hour 9 days ago 9 days ago 9 days ago Under the general direction of the Controller, the Accounting Administrative Assistant will be assisting the accounting team with various daily accounting tasks.
They will also be managing the corporate office and field office needs.
Compensation:
$18 - $24 hourly
Responsibilities:
I will manage the corporate office needs; this includes answering phones, attending to office visitors, and ordering office or kitchen supplies as needed.
I will work with sales agents and site superintendents to manage supplies offsite.
I will work with the accounting team on the below daily duties:
Opening Mail Emailing vendors FedEx/UPS/USPS Shipments Utility Entry I will work with all departments to get approvals on all invoices.
I will assist the Staff Accountant and Controller as needed on the below items:
Matching invoices to checks, obtaining signatures, and distributing checks.
Reconciling vendor and utility statements Parr Monthly Reconciliation Vendor / Supplier Insurance Compliance Emailing Remittance Stubs I will maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
I will assist with other projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Has worked in a team environment.
Has experience using software systems and can freely flow between applications, documents, and systems to complete work products.
Has experience with Microsoft Office and is at least an intermediate user.
Has experience using calendaring systems and experience using basic time management skills in the workplace.
