Our business is growing rapidly, and we are seeking a Head Bakery Mixer to join the team, supporting nationwide growth in foodservice and retail grocery stores.
POSITION SUMMARY We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to fill a Lead Bakery Mixer position.
Requires 1 year experience in industrial food production with responsibility for accurately and quickly measuring ingredients and following mixing instructions.
(We know lots of you love to bake at home - that is fantastic and a plus, but this position is an industrial scale manufacturing job requiring prior experience handling similar volume.
) Must be able to lift 50 lb bags repeatedly throughout shift, approximately 50-70 times per shift.
This position does not have much interaction with the other bakery team members.
So this is the perfect job to put on your headphones and rock out while (carefully) mixing up some of the finest allergen free treats on the market.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand for 8 hours per day Detail oriented and able to accurately follow a recipe.
General Bakery Duties - including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, following safety guidelines, and operating bakery equipment.
(Expect to lift 50 lb bags approximately 50-70 times per shift.
) Must be able to work well both independently and as part of a diverse team.
Speed and accuracy are essential to success in this position.
Demonstrates good organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
The interview will include an in person and working portion.
The right candidate must be able to work directly with the Bakery Manager while showing they can join the team comfortably.
Must have 1
year experience in food manufacturing with responsibility for measuring/mixing.
Must have 1
year experience with same employer.
