We are a mixed animal veterinary hospital seeking a highly motivated, hard-working, candidate with a positive attitude to fill our part-time or full-time Veterinary Assistant position.
We are happy to consider a candidate with Veterinary Assistant experience or one with customer service experience.

Weekdays, occasional Saturdays Compensation:

/hour DOE Qualifications Outstanding customer service skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Basic computer knowledge and skills Ability to effectively multi-task during times of stress Microsoft Office skills Ability to walk or stand for extended periods,frequently working in a bent position, occasionally in inclement weather Work well professionally with all levels of clinic team members Ability to lift and carry at least 40 lbs.
Responsibilities Independently initiate workflow processes Animal Care:
Walk animals, clean animals orarea, feed and medicate Assist doctors and technicians with appointments, animal restraint, client follow-up, medication preparation and administration, animal emergency care Administrative Duties:
Schedule appointments, process client payments, accurate and confidential medical record-keeping Other duties as assigned Training to Include:
Safe and proper restraint of animals even when large or difficult Radiology Patient & Customer Care Perform Diagnostic Tests
