How You Will Make An Impact:
As a Marketing Coordinator at Blackstrap, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to inspire and connect with outdoor enthusiasts across the globe.
Your primary focus will be on creating and implementing marketing strategies that resonate with our community, engaging them through various channels.
This support role will interface with our community on a daily basis while contributing to all aspects of our marketing operations including but not limited to Go-To-Market Planning, Project & Creative Brief Management, Social Media Strategy & Deployment, Partnerships & Events, and our Ambassador Strategy.

The Marketing Coordinator will directly support the Senior Marketing Manager in various areas such as preparing marketing strategies & plans, marketing projects, marketing content like blog posts, and social posts, event & sponsorship coordination, and maintaining relationships with external partners.
Ultimately, the Marketing Coordinator will work alongside the Senior Marketing Manager to assist and ensure all ongoing marketing tasks and projects are completed in a timely manner to their highest potential.
What You Will Do:
Community Engagement:
Foster and grow our community of outdoor enthusiasts through innovative and captivating campaigns across social media, brand ambassadors, brand activations, and other relevant channels and platforms.
Content Creation:
Develop compelling and shareable content that showcases the Blackstrap lifestyle, products, and values.
This includes social media posts, blog articles, and multimedia content.
Events and Partnerships:
Coordinate and participate in events, sponsorships, and partnerships to strengthen our brand presence and connect with our target audience.
Brand Advocacy:
Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand advocates who align with Blackstrap's ethos, cultivating long-term relationships that amplify our message.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to measure the success of campaigns, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with various departments including graphic design, vendors, contractors and freelancers.
Excellent interpersonal skills for representing BlackStrap in public and events.
Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
Proficiency with content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video, and photo editing software.
Highly creative with the ability to think outside the box, listen to others' feedback, and/or develop other ideas.
Resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely and effectively independently accountable.
Skilled level with Microsoft Suite and/or Google Workspace Suite.
Possess extreme detail orientation, flexibility, and the ability to contribute to multiple fast-paced projects.
Professional approach to time and deadlines with the ability to work within a time-pressure and reactive environment.
Strong understanding of the digital/social media environment.
Creative with a strong work ethic and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible, can-do attitude, high-quality workmanship.
Self-starter and goal-oriented.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing social media and creating content, either personal or professional.
In-depth knowledge of outdoor sports culture and trends.
Familiarity with analytics tools and data-driven decision making.
Passion for BlackStrap's mission and products.
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a marketing position or a related field.
At least 2 years of snow and/or outdoor industry marketing experience.
Valid state driver's license and auto insurance.
