The Anti Trafficking Advocate is responsible for engaging and serving victims/survivors of human trafficking in Central Oregon utilizing at:
project and J Bar J in-house services, contracts, partner agencies, and other collaborations.
The Advocate is also responsible for engaging and serving at-risk adults and youth who have been identified as potential victims of human trafficking with the goal towards self-sufficiency and empowerment.
This position provides outreach, crisis response, and case management, as well as continually builds the referral network of options.
The Advocate coordinates with victims/survivors to ensure daily needs are met, and assists in developing and working towards therapeutic goals and objectives as defined by the survivor and outlined in their individual treatment plan.
This position also participates in collaborative evaluation with at:
project Program Manager and staff to assess and enhance program development.
They also complete accurate and timely written documentation of services and data collection.
The Advocate works with community partners to assist with emergency and crisis response to victims of human trafficking.
This position is a full-time.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
