The VP of Sales is responsible for leading, training, directing, and executing all areas of the MonteVista Homes sales team responsible for achieving sales and profits.
Compensation:
$150,000 at plan yearly
Responsibilities:
I will be a member of the executive leadership team; I will set high standards of expectations and will hold myself to these standards knowing that I cannot expect from others what I do not expect from myself! I will ensure that MonteVista Homes provides an exceptional customer experience.
I will create an annual department budget and will contribute to the annual company budget and to control overhead costs to stay within that budget.
I will LMA (Lead, Manage, and Drive Accountability) in all sales-related functions.
I will LMA ensure the company always has an adequate Salesforce, with the market and regional personnel to meet our goals.
I will implement sales team goals and training programs to ensure success.
I will set base prices, spec prices, lot premiums, and will be responsible for controlling incentives and promotions always looking at both market and margin.
I will train or provide training to our Salespeople including closing and other sales techniques to achieve maximum sales and satisfied customers.
I will ensure that all Salespeople coordinate regularly with field and office staff to ensure on-time closings and satisfied homeowners.
I am responsible for LMA for weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
I will coordinate the regular shopping of Salespeople and will implement improvement programs.
I will LMA Sales paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with all state regulations.
I will monitor market trends and competition including the facilitation and execution of a quarterly dare to compare competition analysis.
I will conduct market feasibility studies.
I will LMA regarding all point-of-sale disclosures, legal documentation, and contractual paperwork.
I will LMA in community grand openings, events, and special sales functions.
I will supervise and monitor all sales associates' job performance, including Online Sales Counselors which includes conducting quarterly conversations.
I will award and recognize top performers and leverage strengths in a strategic fashion to promote positivity and encourage constructive behaviors.
I will proactively monitor and engage poor performers to develop weaker areas and, if necessary, move people out when performance does not improve.
I will problem-solve all escrow and closing issues between all parties, i.
e.
Closing Coordinator, Sales Consultants, Realtors, escrow companies, lenders, title companies, Sales Coordinator, customers, and/or homeowners along with any other departments and staff.
I will LMA new community launches and model home completions and ensure coordination of the timely opening of communities.
I will assist in the evolution of home plans for new product development.
I will LMA standard features and amenities including assisting in the development of new standard features and amenities and new product development.
I will assist in the oversight of the marketing to ensure consistent branding and messaging to the consumer.
I will constantly strive to add value to my department and will take the initiative to improve both current and future processes.
I will hold my team members accountable and will challenge them to be better than they were the day before.
Qualifications:
A great leader, who makes the success of the team the most important mission! New home sales & management experience.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Must have the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
