_ Job Overview As a Screen Printing Press Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our pre & post screen printing production process, ensuring that our screen printing operations run smoothly and efficiently.
This position is designed for individuals looking to build a career in screen printing, offering a clear path for growth into a Press Operator role.
This role can also flow into assisting other departments in the shop to alleviate production bottle necks.
Flexibility and eagerness to learn and help anywhere through the shop will make you a true Team Player.
Key Responsibilities Assist in setting up and breaking down screen printing presses.
Prepare screens and inks according to job requirements.
Prepare apparel carts and orders for press operators - making sure everything is in check for upcoming jobs Load and unload garments and materials onto the press.
Perform quality checks on printed items to ensure they meet our high standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to optimize production efficiency.
Collaborate with the press team to troubleshoot issues and optimize printing techniques.
Learn and apply advanced screen printing skills under the guidance of experienced Press Operators.
Full reclaim of screens and prep including coating, burning and taping Boxing & Bagging of finished product Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a screen printing facility is a plus, but not required.
A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong vision and hearing Ability to see correct colors and shades in artwork Clean, neat and organized in all duties preformed.
We do not allow ink or chemicals to get on to other items and areas.
