Job Duties/Responsibilities Greet patients upon their arrival Screen patients for Covid-19 symptoms prior to their appointment Assist patients with intake paperwork Check patients in and out for their scheduled appointments Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients Answer incoming phone calls and triage them appropriately Perform all job duties within HIPAA regulations Prepare patient paperwork Fax medical records to external offices Collect co-pays and payments Complete other clerical duties as assigned Education, Qualifications and Experience High school diploma Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and other Microsoft programs EMR experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology 1-year medical receptionist experience Skills Team player Extreme attention to detail Strong organizational skills Positive attitude Confident, outgoing attitude Ability to multi-task Strong customer service skills COVID Vaccination Required with at least 2 doses.
