We are seeking a warm and loving, confident and talented Assistant Toddler Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year (with a possible summer start).

Qualified applicants should be skilled in and love working with young children and be ready to spend their days in a joyful and fun school setting, get along well with fellow staff, possess a strong work ethic and be honest and kind.
Registration on the Oregon Central Background Registry is required as is completing a short series of required professional trainings.
Montessori experience or classroom experience preferred but not required.
Additionally, this position requires the ability to bend & kneel & crouch, walk & stand for long periods of time and sit on the floor.
Daily closing tasks include light cleaning duties.
Candidates should possess the ability and desire to:
Assist the Lead Toddler Teacher in providing a nurturing, calm and peaceful environment that promotes a feeling of safety and security Assist the Lead Toddler Teacher in guiding the children through a full day, Montessori experience including indoor and outdoor work periods, snack and lunchtime, rest/meditation time and potty-training Assist the Lead Toddler Teacher in guiding the children in their holistic growth and whole child development, including their fine and gross motor skills, socio-emotional and cognitive development Work in partnership with and under the supervision of the Lead Toddler Teacher in the education of students aged 2 - 3 years in an enriching and orderly, beautifully prepared classroom environment We are located in beautiful, sunny Bend, Oregon! In a gorgeous high-desert setting at the foot of the Cascade Range, Bend is an ideal town for active people who want to move to a smaller locale near the wilds without giving up anything they left behind in the big city.
