Quality Control Technician
Job Description:
Sampling and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates and asphalt products on various construction projects throughout the state of Oregon.
Compaction testing of aggregate, asphalt and earthwork materials on various construction projects throughout the state of Oregon.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Previous construction/quality control experience is preferred, but not required.
Comfortable with computer use (Excel, Word, Outlook) Intermediate math skills required.
Comfortable with in-class training and exams.
Compensation:
Hourly - mid $30's Medical & Vision Insurance:
The employee contribution towards the employee insurance premium is $60.
00/month.
Employer covers the remainder of the premium.
Employee is eligible for coverage on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
Paid Time Off (PTO):
Years 1-3 PTO accrues at a rate of 80 hours per year Years 3-6 PTO accrues at a rate of 120 hours per year Years 6
PTO accrues at a rate of 160 hours per year Holidays:
Eligible for six paid holidays after three years of employment Year 1 - 2 paid holidays Year 2 - 4 paid holidays Years 3
- 6 paid holidays 401(k):
Eligible to participate after 90 days of employment.
After one year of employment and 1000 hours, employee is eligible to participate in the discretionary profit-sharing program.
The profit-sharing may be in the form of a matching contribution or a lump sum contribution.
