Ensure prompt and courteous service to patients, whether on the telephone or in person.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent
Licensure/Certification: N/A

Experience: understanding and experience with various computer programs and basic keyboard and typing skills; excellent customer service skills; accurate cash handling and data entry.
Use of online Patient Registration to accurately register patients
Use of the Laboratory Information System (LIS) to look up and print patient orders
Accurately make change and manage $200 cash drawer
Perform data entry and accurately track patient payments
Understand other departments and how they interact with the operations of the organization
Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations.
Participate in Quality Assurance Monitors.
Follow all established I.Q. protocols
Take Customer Service phone calls and follow up of patient and client requests.
Filing, use of copy machine, phone system and calculator as needed.
Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations to assure patient confidentiality.
Perform other work related duties as assigned.
Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
